“Computer navigation and protocols of digital procedure in implantation treatment” course
The course “Computer navigation and protocols of digital procedure in implantation treatment” was held in Nawrocki Clinic on the 2nd and the 3rd of March 2018. It was organized by Dentsply Sirona and run single-handedly by Dr. Michał Nawrocki.

- What are the criteria determining success in implantation and immediate restoration in the aesthetic area, based on available CAD/CAM technologies.
- What Full Digital Planning is.
- How to properly plan and design surgical guides in SIMPLANT software.
- How to remotely plan surgical guides with the use of MYSIMPLANT.
- What are the criteria for the selection in mobile and fixed works,
- What should be primarily taken into account in CBCT diagnostics and what are the rules and guidelines for making diagnostic templates.
- How to use patient’s own dentures in planning of the final restoration and CBCT examination.
- What factors determine the proper position of implants.
- What to particularly pay attention to during intraoral scanning.
- Whether individual abutments are luxurious or a golden standard item.
Learned how to:
- Take advantage of opportunities which CAD/CAM technology offers in implantation and immediate restoration cases.
- Plan and design total reconstruction with the use of surgical guides.
- Perform immediate implantation and restoration in the aesthetic area.
- Plan, scan and mill in CEREC system.
Additionally, the participants of the training could not only see the live procedure of implantation with the use of guides and digital impressions but also personally conduct procedures on patients with the use of SIMPLANT guide.
The conducted procedures included: implantation with immediate prosthetic restoration on Atlantis abutment, implantation with ridge augmentation and sinus lift, augmentation in the lateral section, etc.

“Computer navigation and protocols of digital procedure in implantation treatment” course
At the end of September a two-day course was held at Nawrocki Clinic. The title of the course was “Computer navigation and protocols of digital procedure in implantation treatment” and it was dedicated for all specialists working with Simplant® system and all of those who wished to start working with this system.
The course was run single-handedly by Dr. Michał Nawrocki, who has been using Sirona system in his practice since 2013.
Participants of the training found out more about opportunities which CAD/CAM technology offers in case of total reconstruction of toothless mandible or maxilla, planning surgical guides with the use of MYSIMPLANT, about the criteria for the selection in removable and fixed dentures, as well as learned how to use CAD/CAM in implantation and immediate restoration, to plan and design total reconstruction , immediate implantation and restoration in the aesthetic area, to plan, scan and mill in CEREC system.
During the course implantation live procedure with the use of surgical guides and digital impressions was conducted.
